FinTrack Business Banking Platform

About the project

FinTrack needed to replace a slow, legacy portal with a modern platform that could aggregate accounts from multiple banks, visualise cash flow and let finance teams approve payments collaboratively. We delivered a Next.js application backed by a NestJS API with bank-grade security.

Objectives

• Aggregate 40+ bank connections into a single real-time view
• Reduce page load time from 6s to under 1s
• Introduce multi-user approval workflows with audit trails
• Pass SOC 2 Type II readiness review

Implementation

   Designed an event-driven ingestion pipeline using BullMQ workers for open-banking feeds.

   Built a component library with Storybook covering 70+ accessible UI components.

   Implemented role-based access control with fine-grained permissions and immutable audit logs.

   Set up blue/green deployments on AWS ECS with automated rollback.
